Sunday, March 23 Daytime update

8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping, laying on her left side.
8:15 am- Maureen is slowly waking up. She is calm.
8:30 am- Maureen is fully awake. We raised the bed and in upright position we administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:40 am- We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was medium wet with a little brownish spot on it . Tom and I cleaned and changed her. No vaginal discharge . We applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner tights. The redness on her anal area is still visible. We put Cavilon cream on it. Dressed Maureen and transferred her to the kitchen.
8:55 am- Maureen had 10 oz of water before breakfast.
9:05 am- Breakfast- omelette, piece of pear, 8 oz of prune juice. Maureen coughed twice, sneezed twice.
No Miralax dose today.
9:45 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen’s chair down for her comfort.
9:50 am- Facial routine.
10:15 am- Maureen is relaxed, sipping on an another 10 oz cup of water.
10:30 am- BP-110/65, P- 65
11:00 am- Maureen closed her eyes.
11:15 - Maureen had a short 10 minutes nap.
She had 5 oz of water.
11:20 am- Deacon Andy came in for Sunday service.
11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:40 am.
12:40 pm- Maureen’s first rest break is over now. Her diaper was dry. We dressed her and headed to the kitchen.
12:50 pm- Lunch- chicken and onions soup, potato salad, pickled beets, 10 oz cup of coconut water. Maureen coughed and sneezed couple of times.
1:30 pm- Maureen finished her 10 oz cup of coconut water.
1:35 pm- Oral care.
1:40 pm We did nebulizer treatment with saline solution because Maureen’s nose was running.
1:55 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. There was a slight brownish mark on the diaper , but no vaginal discharge on Maureen. Tom and I performed a clean and change routine. Maureen will lie down on her left side for an hour starting at 2:05 pm.
3:05 pm- Maureen’s second rest break ended. Her diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred her to the recliner.
3:15 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s therapy.
4:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, pear and kiwi. Maureen coughed and sneezed once.
4:50 pm- Maureen’s diaper is dry.
4:55 pm- Dinner- Chicken with peas and broccoli. Maureen coughed three times. She had 5 oz of water.
5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.
6:15 pm- Evening oral care.
6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was heavy wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Cleaned / wiped her face and applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.

Maureen consumesd 38 oz of water today. She ate well, sitting straight without tilting, was awake the whole day with only 10 minutes nap.
