  • 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in the recliner.

  • 5:48pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet so we head to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels. We cleaned up and put on a new pull-up. There were some fecal residue during cleanup.

  • 6:15pm Dinnertime. Maureen had hickory bbq chicken from wingstop with some fries. She also had one cup of water.

    • We used the small size Posey support tonight for dinner. The support did not help in keeping Maureen upright since her slumping is primarily her neck up. Dinner tonight was challenging even with the use of the green wedge pillow.

  • 7:14pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

  • 7:32pm Maureen has been slumping forward ever since the beginning of dinner so we decide to turn in early for the night. Transferred Maureen to bed. Pull-up is slightly wet; cleaned and put on a new diaper. Fecal residue during clean up. No redness observed. Applied Vicks to chest. Removed socks and applied Ciclopirox to both right and left big toe. Knee pillow placed between legs. Body pillows placed on both sides of bed. Head of the bed elevated. Maureen is turned to her right side.
