Sunday, January 22, 2023 - Daytime Summary

8:00AM - Maureen has been sleeping in and out according to Tom. We're giving her more time until she's ready to start the day.

8:35AM - Maureen went back to sleep.

9:00AM - Maureen's awake and ready to start the day. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed, used 3M products. Slight redness under breast folds, applied light Nystatin.

9:25AM - Headed to the kitchen for breakfast.

9:30AM - Started with 1/2 tab Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Breakfast is Omelette (ham, onions and cheese), 1/2 banana, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap MIRALAX, 1 cup lemon juice. 2 coughs, no red face.

10:15AM - Administered the rest of meds, Lisinopril and Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:25AM - Oral care.

Reclined geri chair one notch down for Maureen's comfort.

10:35AM - Facial and hand care.

11:25AM - Deacon Andy came in for Sunday service. Coughed once, red faced. Maureen able to cough out phlegm.

11:40AM - Maureen had 1/2 cup smoothie. No coughs. Maureen had runny nose, Tom used nasal suction for the mucus.

11:55AM - Administered 20ml Guafenesin.

12:00PM - Started heading Maureen to the bedroom for her Rest Break #1. Diaper was heavy wet. Cleaned and changed, used Aloe Vesta and applied Cavilon cream. Rest Break #1 starting @12:15PM. Positioned Maureen on her right side, 2 wedges on her back and pillow in between legs.

1:15PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper was dry. Headed to the kitchen for lunch.

1:25PM - Lunch - steamed brussel sprouts, tuna salad, 12oz coconut water, 1 cup lemon water. No coughs.

2:15PM - Oral care.

2:30PM - Decided to skip Rest Break #2 since we started late and Roberta is coming at 3pm.

2:48PM - Nebulizer with Saline Sol'n.

2:58PM - Maureen's diaper was dry, we checked it while Maureen was on the geri chair.

3:05PM - Sister Roberta arrived.

3:15PM - Headed Maureen to the front room. Maureen snooze right away when Sister Roberta started her massages.

4:00PM - Maureen slowly opening her eyes. Gave her fruit snacks while Sister Roberta is massaging her lower extremities. Sneeze once.

4:35PM - Maureen snooze back to sleep.

5:28PM - Maureen eating dinner on her recliner - beef pot roast, 1 cup lemon water.

6:00PM - Headed Maureen to the bedroom for a clean and change. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed using Aloe Vesta, applied Cavilon cream. Proceed to the kitchen for dessert and take meds.

6:10PM - Maureen had jello for dessert, was not able to finish it due to Maureen starting to get sleepy.

6:25PM - Administered only 10.5ml Vimpat, there was 2ml left. Unable to give the rest of the meds and Olanzapine because Maureen already fell asleep on her geri chair.

6:40PM - Oral care.

6:50PM - Washed Maureen's upper body with warm water and Aloe Vesta. Applied Cetaphil lotion and Vick's on the back and chest.

7:15PM - Started heading Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper is medium wet. Cleaned and changed, used Aloe Vesta and applied Cavilon cream. Positioned Maureen on her left side. 2 wedges on her back and a pillow in between legs.
