Sunday, August 18 Daytime update

• 8:00 am - Maureen is sleeping.

• 8:15 am- Maureen is calmly waking up. She is accepting some water via swab.

• 8:30 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:35 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was dry. We washed her upper body . Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50 am- Breakfast- Omelette, coffee, pear, one tb spoon of activia yogurt. Maureen coughed twice.

• 9:30 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with activia.

• 9:40 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 9:45 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes.

• 10:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the living room. She took a half an hour nap.

• 11:10 am- Deacon Andy came for Sunday service.

• 11:20 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was still dry , we waited a little, the tummy massage helped . Tom and I changed the heavy wet diaper, cleaned, dried and applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. There was a little vaginal discharge. We positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:35 am.

• 12:35 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred her to the kitchen.

• 12:45 pm- Lunch- Oatmeal smoothie, cup of coconut water. Maureen coughed once and was able to get out some phlegm, we used the suction machine.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care.

• 2:20 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on her left side at 2:30 pm.

• 3:30 pm- Maureen's second rest break is over. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 3:55 pm- Fresh fruit snack. No coughs.

• 4:50 pm- Checked Maureen's diaper- it's dry.

• 5:00 pm- Dinner- pork chop, mushed potatoes, steamed Brussels sprouts. Maureen coughed twice. She finished a cup of water.

• 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.

• 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

• 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Cleaned her face and applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.
