September 27 Daytime Update

• 6:30am Maureen is awake. Her legs move about occasionally. She is lying on her left side.

• 7:00am Maureen is asleep.

• 7:30am Maureen is asleep.

• 8:00am Maureen is slowly starting to wake up.

• 8:18am Our morning begins. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we performed a clean and change and applied 3M products. We next washed Maureen’s upper body, dressed for the day, and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:42am Flonase and thyroid pill with applesauce.

• 8:45am Vegetable omelet, banana, 8 oz prune juice - all puréed.

• 9:22am Lisinopril and Claritin with applesauce.

• 9:36am Oral care.

• 9:42am We reclined the Geri chair one notch down to relieve the pressure on Maureen’s sacrum.

• 9:46am Morning facial routine.

• 10:30am 1/2 fruit smoothie.

• 11:15am We headed to the bedroom for rest period #1. Diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:22am.

• General Observation - Maureen woke up in good spirits this morning. Energy and engagement were great and her positioning was excellent on the Geri chair. Breakfast was challenging - we logged 7 coughs and 2 sneezes. Fruit smoothie only saw one cough. Maureen dozed off in the Geri chair for approximately 15 minutes.

• 12:22pm Rest period #1 ends. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we performed a clean and changed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:36pm Lunch - tuna sandwich, potatoes, asparagus (all puréed) with a bottle of organic coconut water.

• 1:31pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest period #2. Maureen’s diaper is light wet - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 2:08pm.

• 3:08pm Rest period #2 ends. Maureen’s diaper is light wet - we performed a clean and change and headed to the front room.

• 3:24pm Fruit snack.

• General Observation - Maureen, like always, had less energy throughout the afternoon compared to her mornings. Lunch only logged one cough and fruit snack saw none. Maureen slept during the second rest period for approximately 15 minutes.
