Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Arrived with an awake and calm Maureen facing her left side. According to Marie, Maureen has been awake since she arrived at 7:30am.

8:15AM - In an upright position, we administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:35AM - We started Maureen's day by giving her full body wash using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. Redness on underarm still lightly visible, applied Nystatin. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

9:05AM - Breakfast started with 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1tbsp flaxseed, yogurt. Coughed once, sneezed twice.

Daily dose of MiraLAX - 1/2 cap

9:30AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with the rest of apple sauce left.

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:50AM - Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort. Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen looking sleepy while sitting on her geri chair. Had a 15min nap. Had half a cup of lemon water.

11:15AM - BP: 110/70, 81

11:20AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Positioned to face

her right side starting at 11:35am.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Proceed with washing Maureen's hair. Transferred to the kitchen to blow dry and style hair.

1:00PM - Lunch was tuna salad, tomato and cucumber salad, veggie soup and 12 oz of root beer. Maureen enjoyed lunch. Coughed once.

1:35PM - Oral care. Reclined geri chair one notch after.

2:00PM - Maureen sitting comfortably and giving us a few smiles.

2:30PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Positioned to face on her left side starting at 2:40pm.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack (pear, kiwi, melon).
