Saturday, January 6 Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. Tom said that she was like that since 5:15 am.

• 8:15 am- Maureen is calmly waking up.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake. We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine.

• 8:35 am- We started the day with giving Maureen a full body bed bath. There was no redness observed. Diaper was medium wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, oatmeal smoothie, couple of spoons of yogurt, a few sips of coffee . Maureen didn't cough during breakfast.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:30 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin.

• 9:35 am- Maureen had an episode of coughing and sneezing a lot . We used the suction machine to help her. She was able to cough up some phlegm.

• 9:40 am- Morning oral care. We reclined the chair down.

• 9:55 am- BP- 115/75

• 10:00 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 10:15 am- Facial routine.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is sleeping in the chair.

• 11:15 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:25 am.

• 12:25 pm- Maureen's first rest break ends. Her diaper was heavy wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and proceeded with washing Maureen's hair. Headed to the kitchen after.

• 12:45 pm- Drying and styling Maureen's hair.

• 12:50 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, eggs salad with fresh tomato, couple of spoons of yogurt, 12 oz cup of sparkling water. Maureen had another episode of sneezing and coughing after lunch.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 2:00 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair, having sips of water.

• 2:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:45 pm.

• 3:45 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:55 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, pear and kiwi. Maureen coughed once.

• 4:30 pm- Maureen is resting in the recliner, watching a TV show.

• 5:00 pm- Dinner- salmon, Brussels sprouts, cup of water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 5:30 pm- BP- 110/65

• 5:55 pm- Administered 5 mg Ollanzapine and 12 .5 ml of Vimpat.

• 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Used the medium size diper. . Applied Cetaphil lotion to face, hands, arms and legs. Positioned Maureen on her left.
