Saturday, January 27 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is sound asleep. Tom informed us that Maureen woke up at 5 am and was in and out of sleep until 6 am. She fell asleep again from 6 to 7 am, then again in an out of sleep until she got back to deep sleep at 8 am.

  • 8:30 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

  • 8:45 am- Maureen is waking up. Her arms are twitching very slightly. Will give her a few minutes.

  • 8:55 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Then we lowered the bed and proceeded with giving Maureen a full body bed bath. There was a slight redness on her right underarm. Applied a tiny layer of nystatin. Maureen's diaper was dry. Marie and I cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:20 am- Administered 50 mg of crushed Senna plus with apple sauce and cup of water.

  • 9:25 am- Breakfast- oatmeal smoothie with 2 prunes added, 8 oz of prune juice, cup of water. Maureen coughed twice.

  • 10:00 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch for her comfort.

  • 10:05 am- Facial routine.

  • 11:00 am- Maureen closes her eyes at times. Carolyn visited her!

  • 11:40 am- We transferred Maureen to the bathroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on the right side at 11:45 am.

  • 12:45 pm- Maureen's first rest break is over now. Her diaper was heavy wet. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 1:00 pm- Lunch- meatballs and rice soup, eggs salad, roasted cauliflower, 12 oz cup of sparkling water. Maureen coughed twice. We reclined Maureen's chair during lunch because her head was forward and down.

  • 1:45 pm- Oral care.

  • 2:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. She will lay on her left side for an hour starting at 2:40 pm.

  • 3:40 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet and she had a small formed bowel movement in. Marie and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 4:00 pm- Maureen is enjoying her fresh fruit- watermelon, pear and kiwi. She coughed once.

  • 5:00 pm- Dinner- chicken and broccoli casserole. Maureen coughed three times.

  • BP- 115/65.

  • 5:55 pm - Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.

  • 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil cream to Maureen's face, hands, arms and feet. Positioned her on the left side.

Tuesday June 23, 2026 Daytime Update.

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, still sleeping. 9:45AM- Maureen is awake, no signs of pain or any distress. We check the left foot it already very light color we still Applied Triamcinolone 0.1%
