Saturday December 31, 2022 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s lying on her Lt side. Tom is in bed with her.

• 8:30am Maureen’s opening her eyes. As per Tom, she‘s been in and out of sleep since 7:30. She seems calm, no stress getting awake - we wait for her to be more alert to start the day. Meanwhile, water via swap is introduced, she is receiving it well.

• 8:45am Our day starts, we performed a full body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. No redness spots were observed. Diaper was md wet, changed and cleaned w/3m products plus barrier cream applied. Dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:15am Levothyroxine administered. Breakfast: Oatmeal, banana, prune juice w/1/2 cap miralax and a cup of water w/1/4 lemon juice. Maureen continue sneezing, having a runny nos, but seems a little better than yesterday. Lisinopril and loratadine administered. Coughed 5 times, used pump to get saliva out of her mouth.

• 10:05am Oral care and facial routine performed. Reclined chair one notch.

• 10:25am Maureen’s snoozing a little on her recliner.

• 11:15am Smoothie time. Coughed once. Still salivating a runny nose.

• 11:45am We take Maureen to the bedroom for the 1st break. Cleaned and changed Lg wet diaper. Positioned her on her art side. Break #1 stars at 12:00m.

• 1:00pm Break #1 ends. Cleaned and changed md wet diaper; dressed her. Washed Maureen’s hair and headed to the kitchen. 1:20pm Blow dried her hair.

• 1:30 pm Lunch: tuna salad, fresh tomato, chicken noodle soup, bottle of coconut water, cup of water w/1/4 lemon. Coughed 3 times.

• Carolyn came to visit Maureen.

• 2:15pm Oral care.

• 2:30pm We move into the bedroom for 2nd break. Maureen peeps while changing, we cleaned and changed heavy wet diaper and sm-formed BM using aloe vesta and 3m products. 2:45pm Positioned on her Lt side, break #2 starts.

• 3:40pm Second break ends. Changed and cleaned md wet diaper w/3m products. Dressed her and headed to the front room.

• 3:55pm Fruit snac.
