Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's on her left side sleeping. No signs of any distress. O2 via nasal cannula at 98%.

Tom informed that she had a "cough attack" around 5am and was able to suctioned a good amount of phlegm.

8:45AM - Maureen woke up. Placed her on her back 10mins after and in an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - Neb treatment with albuterol.

BP: 104/62, P: 65 bpm

9:15AM - Me and Marie washed her upper body with warm purple wipes. Diaper was dry, we cleaned Maureen with water and cleanser, then changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Finished dressing and transferred to the bedroom.

9:25AM - Maureen had 8oz of lemon water. Coughed once (dry). Administered 1 tab 4mg of Methylprednisolone with apple sauce and 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

Breakfast - scrambled egg with onion and tomato, pear and 8oz prune juice. Coughed 2x (dry).

10:30AM - Administered 1 tab 500mg Amoxicillin (crushed) with apple sauce and 20ml expectorant with apple sauce.

10:45AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine.

11:30AM - Maureen had a 15-20min nap. She's still coughing to clear her airways, nothing intense.

She took 4oz of water (with hydration powder).

11:45AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position her to face the right side. O2 at 95%.

12:45PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet with large formed BM. We cleaned and changed her, dressed and transferred to the front room.

12:55PM - Neb treatment with albuterol.

1:15PM - Lunch - tuna salad, fresh avocado, chicken/veggie soup and rice pudding for dessert, and 10 oz coconut water. Maureen ate well. Coughed (dry) 2x and sneezed twice.

Administered 1 tab 4mg Methylprednisolone with apple sauce.

2:00PM - Oral care.

2:30PM - Maureen had another 15min nap while on the recliner. We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face the right side.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with medium formed BM. We cleaned and changed her. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Administered 20ml of expectorant with apple sauce.

Fruit snack time (banana, apple and melon). Maureen took 5 oz of lemon water.
