Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's already awake, she's on her left side. Tom's giving her sips of water via swab.

8:30AM - We placed her in an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 98/58, O2: 97%, P: 72bpm

8:42AM - Neb treatment with saline.

9:00AM - Me and Tom started to wash Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes, no redness on skin. Diaper was dry, we cleaned her using tepid water and cetaphil cleanser. We changed and applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum, and cream on inner thighs. We finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Maureen took 8oz of water with electrolyte powder. Breakfast - scrambled egg with onion and tomato, pear and 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX. Coughed once and able to take out phlegm by herself. Maureen ate well.

9:50AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:10AM - Went out for a walk.

10:50AM - We came back from a nice 40min walk before weather get too hot.

Maureen refused to drink water from the cup, she sipped via swab.

11:15AM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Position to face the right side.

12:20PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we got dressed and moved to the front room.

12:30PM - Lunch - chicken salad, potato salad and 5oz of coconut water. Coughed once and sneezed once.

1:20PM - Oral care.

1:40PM - Djohn, Emily and kids arrived for a visit.

Maureen took 4oz of the strawberry acai refresher from Djon.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face the right side.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Got Maureen dressed and moved to the front room.

3:50PM - Maureen took 3oz of the strawberry drink.

Neb treatment with saline.
