Saturday, Apr. 12, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's on her left side soundly sleeping.

8:40AM - Maureen's awake and looking ready to start her day. No signs of discomfort or distress observed. We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Me and Marie washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes. There is skin breakdown on the right antecubital area (front of elbow) due to pressure and prolong arm stiffness, applied thin layer of Calazinc. Also, red spot on the same arm which we applied Aquaphor cream. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her with tepid water and Cetaphil

cleanser. Applied Calazinc on the labia for slight redness. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

9:05AM - Breakfast - pancake, scrambled egg with tomato and onion, pear and 8oz prune juice. Maureen had 8oz of lemon water before breakfast. Coughed 3x.

9:45AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:00AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - She's comfortably sitting on her chair, hands relaxed.

11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom, time for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We position her to face the right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper is still clean and dry. We got Maureen dressed and moved to the kitchen.

12:40PM - Lunch - chesapeake bay shrimp salad, garlic sweet potato wedges, rice pudding for dessert and 12oz of sparkling water. Maureen enjoyed the food. Coughed 2x.

1:15PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

2:00PM - Maureen was looking a little sleepy however, stayed awake while listening to the music. She had 5oz of lemon water.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied suppository to aid with her BM. Position to face the left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry with small formed BM. We cleaned and changed her and headed to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (melon, banana and apple). Maureen had 8oz of water.

Total liquid intake - 41 oz
