Saturday 5-17-25 Daytime summary

8:00 Maureen is just starting to stir.


8:15 After having a few sips of water, via swab, we sat Maureen up so Marie could administer her thyroid pill with a couple spoons of applesauce.


8:25 Marie and I give Maureen a bed bath and change a medium wet diaper, two small spots of light brown discharge were noticed on the diaper.


9:00 We transferred to the front room and enjoyed som breakfast, consisting of some banana, avocado/egg mash and 10 ounces of lemon water.


NO MIRALAX OR PRUNE JUICE TODAY


Maureen was able to cough out a considerable amount of phlegm, no suction needed.


10:00 We noticed some crusty buildup earlier, so we gave a saline, nebulizer treatment.

Oral and facial care followed.

11:00AM - Maureen is sitting on recliner eyes closed, relaxed.


11:30AM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, with large, formed BM. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.


12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.


12:50PM - Lunch - chicken salad, mozzarella and 12oz sparkling water. No coughs.


1:45PM - Oral care.


2:00PM - Maureen was looking more awake after the 1st rest break and lunch.


2:30PM - We transferred to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the left side.


3:35PM - 2nd rest break is over. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed and transferred to the kitchen.


3:45PM - Maureen took 5oz of lemon water. Fruit snack followed (melon, banana and apple). No coughs.
