Monday May 18th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen is awake. Tom gave her a few swabs of water. We sat her up in a upright position. Gave her a albuterol breathing treatment & 75 mcg of levothyroxine w/applesauce. Maureen drank 6oz of water w/thick it

Morning Care- washed her upper extremities with warm purple wipes. Diaper was medium wet with medium vd yellow & orderless, cleaned and changed her. Applied sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on her posterior and inner thighs.

We dressed her and moved her to the living room.

10:45 - Breakfast-waffle and kiwi 8oz of thickened Prune juice & 1/2 cap miralax. Administered 10mg of Loratadine and 20 ml cough syrup ( Geri- Tustin ) with apple sauce.

Shelly visited today, Maureen's lung & bowel sounds are good & clear

11:25-Oral care

11:25- facial and hand care routine

11:45 Maureen closed her eyes for a nap .

1:pm Fruit snack ( watermelon diced) 10 oz thicken coconut water.

4 coughs with watermelon no suction required

1:45- Transferred Maureen into bed for afternoon rest break , Maureen was dry positioned to the right side

2:45 pm Maureen was med wet VD is orderless and yellow . We moved her to the front room.

3:pm Neb treatment with Albuteral

3:10pm-Sister Roberto arrived

5:00pm- Dinner - Hamburger Helper & 10oz of sparkling water w/thickner.

5:30pm - Administered 5mg of Olanzapine 12.5 ml Vimpat and cough syrup 20ml (Gerri- Tussin) all with apple sauce.

5:35pm- Oral care

6:10 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper med wet w/med VD odorless and yellow & we cleaned, changed and applied cavilon cream on posterior and inner thighs . Applied Cetaphil lotion on

face,arms and legs . Positioned to the left side .
