Monday March 18, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake lying on her left side. As per Tom, Maureen’s been in and out of sleep, accepting sips of water via swab since 6:00am.

• 8:30am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:40am Merianne and I started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath, cleaning and changing a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film/cream. No redness observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 3 prunes and couple spoons of Greek yogurt, and a cup of lemon water. Coughed twice.

• 9:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• Daily Miralax dosage: full cap.

• 9:35am Morning oral care.

• 9:45am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen sits relaxed while watching a Disney film.

• She napped for about 20 minutes before the end.

• 11:00am Blood pressure: 105/60, P 67.

• 11:10am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was medium wet, clean and changed then positioned on her right side.

• 12:10pm First break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:20pm Lunch: Lentils soup, chicken salad, fresh tomato, full cup of coconut water, and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed twice and her nose was runny.

• Reclined Geri one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 1:00pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen’s been I relaxed and well awake listening to music. She had 1/3 cup of ginger tea in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Cleaned and changed a heavy wet diaper then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi).
