Monday June 17, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s awake, looking sleepy though. She’s lying on her left side.

• 8:20am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:30am Tom and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes. Noticed small red spot by her left-front arm fold, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50am Breakfast: 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with couple spoonfuls of Greek yogurt and a cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice, suction pump used successfully getting huge phlegms out.

• 9:10am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily miralax dosage: 1/2 cap

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:35am Oral care.

• 9:40am Albuterol and saline Neb treatment.

• 10:05am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen sits with relaxed hands while watching a Disney movie.

• Maureen took a 20 minutes nap during the film.

• 11:25am Blood pressure: 106/63, P: 76.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs are, and then positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Sweetpeas soup, chicken salad, guacamole, full cup of sparkling water and yogurt with chocolate chips cookie for dessert. Coughed twice and nose was runny during lunch.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 1:30pm Oral care.

• Maureen stayed awake awake after lunch even though, she looked tired. She had half cup of ginger tea in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting period. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, and then positioned on her left side.

• During the break, Maureen was sleepy.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi).
