Monday June 10, 2024 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen is awake, lying on her left. As per Tom, she’s been in and out of sleep since 7ish am when she woke up calmly and had few sips of water via swab.

  • 8:30am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:40am Tom and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes, no redness observed. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:00am Breakfast: Oatmeal/fruit smoothie with couple spoons of Greek yogurt, a cup off lemon water, and coffee. No coughs.

  • 9:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

  • ***While having breakfast, Maureen said “Thank you.”🙏

  • Daily Miralax dosage: None

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

  • 9:35am Oral care.

  • 9:45am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

  • 10:30am Maureen’s sitting well awake and relaxed arms while listening to her playlist.

  • 10:50am Blood pressure: 100/60, pulse: 59.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was medium wet, clean/change, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area, then positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:40pm Lunch: Lentils soup, chicken salad, fresh tomato, full cup of sparkling water and Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed once, suction pump used and her nose was running.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch during meal, Maureen was leaning forward.

  • 1:30pm Oral care.

  • 2:20pm Maureen stayed awake the whole time after lunch as well as in the morning. She had a cup of lemon water in the meantime.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper was heavy wet, clean/change, and positioned on her left side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Clea/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living area.

  • 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi), and half cup of water.

Wednesday April 29th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen is awake, woke up trembling a little Tom calmed her & gave her a few swabs of water. We sat her up in a upright position & gave her 75mcg of Levothyroxine w/pear puree & she drank 6oz

 
 
 
Tuesday April 28,2026 Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, already awake. No signs of pain or any distress. Tom’s giving her water via swab. 9:40AM-We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothy

 
 
 
Monday April 27th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen was up earlier, Tom gave her a couple swabs of water. Maureen woke up @10am we positioned her in a upright position and gave her 75mcg of Levothyroxine w/applesauce. Maureen drank 6oz
