Monday, July 28, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's still sleeping, she's lying on her left side.

Maureen's O2 has been low as per Tom since last night- reading as of this moment was 90%. Tom decided to give Maureen O2 via nasal cannula at 2L/min.

8:15AM - Maureen is still in her deep sleep, her O2 at 97%.

8:45AM - Maureen woke up and slightly jumpy, no tight jaw or clenched fist. O2 at 95%, P: 72bpm. Lasted between 3-5mins.

9:10AM - We placed Maureen in an upright position. Administered 75mcg of Levothroxine with apple sauce. BP: 102/58

Neb treatment with saline. O2 Sat between 89-90% while on treatment.

9:30AM - Tom doing Covid swab for testing.

9:35AM - Placed back O2 via nasal cannula at 2L/min

9:50AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath using tepid water and cleanser - skin is clear, no redness or rashes. Diaper was dry with small, yellowish v. discharge. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We changed her and transferred to the front room.

10:15AM - Maureen looks very awake. Sounds very phlemgy, we used suction machine to help her get rid of the phlegm whenever she coughs.

Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:20AM - Maureen took 5oz of lemon water before breakfast. Ate banana bread, peach and had 3oz prune juice. No coughs while eating.

11:00AM - Coughed 3x and used suction machine to take out phlegm.

11:10AM - Oral care.

Eye care/eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine followed.

11:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap. Calmed down from coughing as well. O2 Sat at 94-95%

12:00PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we placed her on the right side.

12:40PM - Shelly, RN from Journey Care arrived.

BP: 102/65, O2: 91%, T: 98.0

She heard congestion on Maureen's upper lobes of the lungs. The nurse advise to give Albuterol on Neb atleast 3x a day.

1:45PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was still clean and dry, we proceed to dressed her and transferred to the front room.

1:55PM - Neb treatment with Albuterol.

Lunch - chicken-veggie soup (blended) and 4oz tea with honey. Coughed 5x.

2:55PM - Oral care.

3:30PM - Maureen closed her eyes for a 10-15min nap while on recliner.
