Maureen had a slight seizure in bed this morning. This is the second one in the last few weeks. The signs/symptoms of a slight seizure are:

  • Rapid continuous twitching of her arms

  • Heavy breathing through her nose

  • Fixed eyes

  • Clenched jaw

  • Tightened neck muscles

  • General unresponsiveness to basic questions and verbal commands

If such a situation arises while you are on duty, please do the following:

  1. Turn Maureen on her left/right side

  2. Make sure her mouth and nose are clear

  3. Ensure that she is not biting her tongue

  4. Call/notify Tom immediately
