MAP Care | New anti-seizure medication

Dr. Yucas, Maureen's neurologist, has decided to prescribe a new anti-seizure medication. This was in response to the feedback we provided to him about the very negative side effects of OxCARBAZepine . The new medication is called Lacosamide. We will stay on the OxCARBAZepine for one more week. As soon as we can get a supply of Lacosamide, Maureen will begin taking it. Click here for an overview of Lacosamide.
