Saturday June 26, 2021 Overnight Update

• 5:00pm Maureen is returning from a trip to the bedroom back to the recliner assisted by Alla and Marie.

• 6:10pm Maureen’s diaper is now wet. We took her to the bathroom and after 17 minutes, we were unsuccessful in urinating or moving bowels. We cleaned Maureen thoroughly and returned to the day chair for dinner.

• 6:25pm Dinner time. Maureen ate half of her grilled chicken breast, salad, and mozzarella with tomato and drank one cup of water. Maureen was leaning forward and left throughout the meal and needed my assistance to sit upright. She coughed once and did not pocket any water in her mouth.

• 7:33pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 8:02pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Her diaper is wet. We cleaned her and put on a fresh diaper. No redness observed. Socks removed and Vicks applied to chest. Maureen is lying on her right side.

• 9:45pm Maureen has been asleep for about 20 minutes now. Diaper is dry.

• 11:00pm Maureen coughed once at this point. Diaper is still dry.

• 12:00am Maureen’s diaper is now wet. She also had a small bowel movement. Cleaned thoroughly and put on a new diaper. Repositioned to her left side.

• 2:00am Maureen is still sound asleep and her diaper is dry.

• 4:00am Maureen is asleep and dry.

• 4:45am Maureen’s diaper is now wet. Cleaned thoroughly and put on a new diaper. Repositioned to her right side.
