Friday, Sept 26, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen sleeps soundly lying on her left side.

  • 8:30 Maureen’s sleeping deeply.

  • 9:30am Maureen’s waking up slightly jumpy for the next few minutes; accepting sips of water afterward.

  • 9:50am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:52am Blood pressure: 107/60.

    Pulse: 56

    O2: 98

  • 9:57am Tom and I started the day giving Maureen a full bath using a damp washcloth and Cetaphil cleanser, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a small-yellowish vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and continued to wash her hair, then transferred to the kitchen for breakfast.

  • 10:25am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

  • 10:27am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, waffle with butter and jam, pear and 8oz prune juice. Maureen coughed four times during meal, suction pump used twice.

  • While having breakfast, Maureen got slightly jumpy for about 15 minutes. Was able to finish her breakfast after without any problem.

  • 11:25am Oral care.

  • 11:35am Facial routine performed.

  • Maureen closed her eyes for about 20 minutes shortly after her morning routine.

  • 12:35 pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

  • 1:10pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed Maureen to the patio.

  • 1:25pm Lunch: Chicken and rice soup (blended) with avocado, and 10oz sparkling water. She coughed twice and her nose was runny during lunch.

  • 2:30pm Oral care.

  • 2:40pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the front door.

  • 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) with 8oz electrolyte drink.

  • Total liquids ingested: 35oz.

  • We did not observe a difference with Maureen’s coughing today the saline treatment was omitted.
