Friday, May 2, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake had sips of water via swab, lying down on her left side.

8:15AM - Maureen closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

8:55AM - Maureen opened her eyes, looked more awake and ready to start the day. We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:05AM - Me and Dalia gave her a full body bed bath using warm water and Cetaphil cleanser. No redness on skin. Diaper was medium wet, no redness on labia. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We dressed Maureen and proceed to wash her hair.

9:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the front room to dry and style her hair.

She had 10oz of lemon water and we administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

9:40AM - Breakfast waffle drizzled with syrup, banana and 5oz coffee. Maureen coughed 3x, sneezed 2x.

10:15AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:25AM - "Friends" is on TV, Maureen is attentive to it.

10:50AM - Neb treatment, saline soln and albuterol.

She's looking relaxed, sitting comfortably on the recliner and stayed awake.

11:25AM - Maureen took 5oz of water.

We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break is over. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Got her dressed and transferred to the front room.

12:40PM - Lunch - turkey & cheese sandwich, tomato and 12 oz rootbeer. Maureen ate well. Coughed once.

1:20PM - Oral care.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet with very small, formed BM. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face the left side.

2:45PM - Maureen gave a big smile while listening to "Raglan Road."

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we dressed Maureen and moved to the front room.

3:40PM - Maureen took 4 oz of lemon water before fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
