Friday January 6, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen was sleeping lying on her Lt side when Maya arrived.

• 7:00am Maya States that Maureen was sleeping soundly.

• 7:30am Maureen is still asleep.

• 8:00am At this time Maureen’s going back to sleep after she briefly opened her eyes about 10 minutes ago, then p: 69, O2: 93.

• 8:30am By now, Maureen’s still asleep, for a couple minutes she opened her eyes then went back to sleep.

• 9:00am Maureen has been in and out of sleep a couple of times, but really falling back sleep within a minute. She is calm and relaxed.

• 9:30am No change.

• 9:40am Maureen’s slowly waking up. P: 66, O2: 93.

• 10:00am Maureen’s fully awake and ready to start the day. Maya and I performed a clean and change - diaper was md we, we noticed that red spot by her back end seems a tiny bit better today. Applied Cavilon barrier film after cleaning and drying the are, also applied cream barrier to her back and front area. Abdominal fold was showing a new are of redness of about 2-3”, applied a light nystatin coat. Performed upper body wash w/warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 10:20am Levothyroxine administered. Breakfast: oatmeal, banana, prune juice w/1/2 cap miralax, a cup of lemon water. Coughed and sneezed twice. Maureen sounds a little bi congested today.

• 10:45am 20ml Robafen, Lisinopril and loratadine administered.

• Oral care.

• 10:55 Reclined Maureen’s chair one notch and got the chair covered, ready for Deanna’s appointment to color her hair, she’s on her way.

• 11:10am Deanna did a dye, wash, cut and style Maureen’s hair!

• 12:15pm Lunch: potato soup, chicken salad, brussel sprouts, coconut water. Coughed 2 times. Reclined chair one notch.

• 12:45pm Neb - albuterol therapy performed. Enjoyed Carolyn’s visit.

• 1:00pm Facial routine. Due to Maureen’s busy schedule/beauty treat, her facial was done later, but she got it!

• 1:10pm Robafen administered.

• 1:30pm Follow up visit from nurse Ann. Upon listening to Maureen’s lung, she states that today they sound clear. Recommendation:

• Neb treatment 3 times a day first w/saline then albuterol, every 4 hrs. Call if not better over the weekend.

• Keep taking Robafen until she gets better.

• Continue the care of redness spot on her back end w/3m film and barrier cream on later change. She observed that the area a bit better.

• 2:15pm Cleaned and changed md wet diaper with 3m products and applied barrier cream. Dressed Maureen and headed to the front room.

• Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack. No cough.

Daytime summary

Contrary to yesterday, Maureen has been a little congested and her energy level is in the lower level. She stayed in bed, sleeping extra this morning which was good to get her prepare for the busy day ahead. Looking Good!!!
