Friday December 23, 2022 Daytime update

• 6:30am As Maya got in, Maureen was asleep on her left w/ Tom by her side.

• 6:45am Maureen opened her eyes. Hart rate: 65-75. O2: 95.

• 7:00am Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 7:30am Maureen is still sleeping.

• 8:00am Maureen is sound asleep.

• No change.

• 8:40am Maureen is now awake and ready to start the day. Diaper is md wet and small formed/firm bowel movement. While changing her, Maureen managed to push a large-formed BM. Maya and I-changed and cleaned w/Aloe vesta and 3m product. No redness spots were observed, skin looks good. Upper body wash w/warmed purple wipes, dressed Maureen and we moved t the kitchen.

• 9:20am Levothyroxine w/apple juice administered. Breakfast: oatmeal, banana, 8oz prune juice and a cup of water. Lisinopril and loratadine administered. She coughed once. Tom and Carolyn reconsidered and changed today’s miralax to 15ml of stool softener.

• 9:50am Oral care.

• 10:00am Maureen’s eyes are cleaned w/warm water soap and face pad. Eye drops applied. Facial routine followed. Reclined her chair one notch.

• 10:15am Maureen is relaxed and snoozing on her recliner chair.

• 10:45am Smoothie time (1/2). Coughed two times.

• 11:15am We headed to the bedroom for Maureen 1st break. Diaper was md wet. Change and clean w/ 3m products. We positioned her on her right. Break #1 stars at 11:20am w/bed massage on.

• 12:15pm Changed and cleaned Maureen, diaper was light wet. Headed w her to the kitchen for lunch: egg salad, fresh piled tomato, chicken noodle soup, and coconut water. Plus Maureen also had deser, tiramisu! Cup of water after desert. She coughed 4 times.

• Note: Since yesterday we started adding a little apple juice to flavor the water. By today Maureen seem more receptive to drinking it :)

• 1:00pm Oral care. We reclined Maureen’s chair one notch.

• Today Maureen is talking and her energy is good.

• 2:00pm We go for Maureen’s 2nd break. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed w/3m products, applied barrier cream. Positioned her on her left side. Bed massage is turned on. Break #2 starts at 2:12pm.

• 3:10pm Break #2 ends. Performed cleaning after removing md wet diaper. Moved Maureen to the living roo. At 3:30 she is having he fruit snack and washing tv.

Daytime summary

Maureen‘s energy level has been great today, talkative and seating straight. She has no redness spots, skin looks very good. Now she is alert wile enjoying the fruit snack.
