December 16 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Maureen is awake.

• 6:45AM - Maya checked the diaper. It is dry.

• 7:10AM - Maureen remains awake. Diaper is still dry.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:13AM. She is rather chipper this morning—smiling quite often. Maya and I applied the Tolcylen, performed a clean and change using all three 3M Cavilon products and washed the areas of focus of her upper body with Aloe Vesta cleansing foam. No upper body area required the application of Nystatin ointment. Lastly, Maya cleaned the entire navel area with Cetaphil and warm water. Afterwards, she applied a thin layer of hydrocortisone.The entire area continues to heal very nicely. It is almost back to normal.

• Breakfast service began @ 8:49AM. Posture in the geri chair is good. Maya gave Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka honey and then followed up immediately with the administration of the thyroid medication. Maureen coughed 4 times during breakfast.

• Maureen will drink approximately 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• 9:20AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication.

• 9:30AM - Morning oral care

• 9:45AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops.

• 9:50AM - Morning facial treatment

• 10:35AM - Organic fruit smoothie - Maureen coughed 4 times while drinking the purple haze.

• 10:55AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. The diaper was light wet. After completing the clean and change, Maya and I positioned Maureen on her left side.

• 11:10AM - Rest Break #1 begins. Maureen will lay on her left side for the next hour.

• 12:20PM - Rest Break #1 concludes. Diaper was light wet. Once we competed the clean and change process, we headed to the kitchen.

• 12:40PM - Lunch | Maya prepared 1/2 a ham and cheese sandwich on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 a bowl of butternut squash and a serving of green beans. Maureen will drink 1 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. For desert, she will enjoy a small serving of rice pudding. Maureen coughed twice during lunch.

• 1:30PM - Afternoon oral care

• 1:55PM - We transported Maureen to the bedroom for Rest Break #2. Her diaper medium wet. After finishing up the clean and change, we placed Maureen on her right side.

• 2:10PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

• 3:10PM - Rest Break #2 concludes. Diaper is medium wet. We did a clean and change and then headed to the front room.

• 3:25PM - Afternoon fruit snack. Maureen coughed three times while enjoying the fruit snack.
