Best practice | Charging the Hoyer power lift batteries

The Hoyer power lift is an essential piece of equipment. It enables us to safely and securely transfer Maureen on multiple occasions every day. Without it, Maureen would be stuck in bed all day.

Two specialized rechargeable batteries power the lift. In order to maximize the life of the batteries, please always plug the lift into an outlet when it is not being used.

Tuesday July 28,2026 Daytime Update.

Tom’s Update Around 9AM: Tom administered 0.25ml of Morphine, And 0.50ml Lorazepam. Maureen sleeping comfortably. No pain, no moaning. 9:30AM- Maureen is on her left side still sleeping comfortably.
