April 13 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping soundly. She is positioned on her right side. I have never seen that before first thing in the morning.

• 7:20AM - Maureen is beginning to lightly stir and wake up.

• 8:10AM - She continues to go in and out of sleep. Remains lying in bed comfortably.

• Day began @ 8:40AM. Diaper was wet. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen and put a new pull up on her.

• Maya used the Hoyer lift to transfer Maureen from the bed to the day chair. The entire process took about 8 minutes. Maya continues to get more and more comfortable with using the lift.

• Maureen's disposition is good. She has more energy than yesterday. Ironically, she is listing a bit to the right this morning. As of now, Maureen needs no assistance to sit upright in the day chair.

• Nasal congestion is insignificant this morning. We did not administer Flonase.

• Maureen drank 1/2 cup of prune juice.

• Morning meds administered at approximately 9:15AM.

• 9:45AM - Maureen's engagement and responsiveness are better today so far.

• 10:30AM - Maureen remains fairly engaged with Maya. She continues to sit upright in the chair without any assistance.

• 10:35 - Smoothie time.

• 11:15 - Took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up was dry. We waited about 35 minutes for her to go. She did not.

• 11:55AM - Hair shampoo and style

• 1:20PM - Headed to the bathroom. Maureen moved her bowels (small and firm) and urinated (somewhat cloudy) in the toilet. Pull up was dry. Maya did not have to change it.
