This is Carolyn, step-mother. I am very concerned with the new medicine, oxcarbazepine. I think we need to stop it. Maureen has lost all ability to stand, to walk, and use her motor skills. In addition, she has deteriorated in her ability to form sentences and not mumble. She sometimes drools.

Her appetite is good, she is drinking a lot of water. She came home from the hospital with a cough and that has gotten a bit better.

The instructions say the dosage should be increased on Monday. It also says she needs a blood test, which we are arranging.

The nurse is scheduled for tomorrow.

It appears from the notes that a seizure may not have happened.

Please help.
