Wednesday September 20, 3023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen’s asleep lying on her left side.

• 7:00am Maureen is still asleep.

• 7:30am Around this time, Maureen woke up calmly, she is receptive to sips of water via swab.

• 8:00am She’s closing her eyes from time to time.

• 8:25am Maureen’s fully awake, we raised her bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:35am Our day starts. Marianne and I started givING her a full body bath. Diaper was dry but we changed anyway, applied Cavilon barrier and cream. We noticed slight redness by her bellybutton, cleaned/dried and applied a thin layer of nystatin. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Maureen is enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 8oz prune juice with 1/4 cap Miralax, 1/2 ripe pear, and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. She coughed twice and was able get some phlegm out by herself.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:35am Morning oral care.

• 9:45am Facial routine performed.

• 10:00am Maureen already finished drinking her first cup of lemon water. She‘s sitting straight, alert and seem in good spirit.

• 11:00am Ann, RN came Maureen’s weekly visit,

Bellybutton redness’s fading already.

• 11:20am Headed Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Diaper was md wet, cleaNed and changed. Positioned on her right side at 11:35am.

• 12:20pm First break ends. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and continued to wash Maureen’s hair then headed to the kitchen.

• 12:40pm Blow dry and styled Maureen’s hair.

• 12:50pm Lunch: vegetable soup, Greek salad /shrimps, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Coughed once.

• Maureen enjoyed her lunch, she ate with plenty of energy.

• 1:30pm Oral care performed.

• 2:00pm Maureen’s been awake and alert on the Geri chair after lunch. Also drank 1/2 cup of lemon water.

• 2:20pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. No BM - diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed and as planned, a suppository is given. Positioned on her left side at 2:35pm.

• 3:20pm Second break ends. Changed and cleaned a md wet diaper with a medium-formed bowel movement. Dressed and headed Maureen to the front room.

• 3:40pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack ( melon/kiwi). She finished another cup of lemon water. No coughs.
