Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is still sleeping, lying on her left side.

8:40AM - Maureen opened her eyes, no signs of distress and pain. Waited 10 mins from the time she woke up, and in an upright position - administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was clean and dry - no vaginal discharges. We proceed to dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Breakfast - 8oz prune juice with 1 cap Miralax, banana, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and yogurt. She coughed 2x and had episodes of sneezes.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort prior to breakfast.

MiraLAX dose today - 1 cap

9:45AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:15AM - Maureen is sitting comfortably on her chair - looking relax while listening to the music.

10:45AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

11:00AM - Kelsie, RN arrived for the weekly visit.

Both lungs cleared from sounds. Good active stomach sounds heard. Arm and leg circumference - 21.5cm and 33cm, respectively.

T - 97.9

HR - 72 bpm

BP - 104/58

11:22AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was still clean and dry. Position to face her right side.

12:00PM - 1st rest break ended short to get ready for Maureen's doctor appt. Diaper was medium wet with medium clear vaginal discharge.

12:10PM - Lunch was chicken salad, beets and veggie soup. She had a cup of sparkling water and 1/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.

12:40PM - Oral care.

**Waiting for the van - transportation to take us to the doctor's appointment.

1:20PM - Arrived at the doctor's office.

**Maureen was seen with the specialist, Dr. Cockrum along with the resident doctor. She had pelvic exam and they took tissue samples for biopsy.

3:20PM - Maureen took and tolerated the specialist visit very well.
