Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, lying on her left side. Looking calm, no signs of pain or distress.

8:25AM - Maureen's eyes are closed - went back to sleep.

8:50AM - Maureen opened her eyes, still looking a little bit sleepy. Waited atleast 6-8mins and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - Me and Joanna washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes, no rashes/redness on skin. Diaper was clean and dry, no vaginal discharges. We dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Breakfast - 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, yogurt and half a cup of lemon water. Coughed once.

MiraLAX dose today - 1/2 cap

9:40AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:55AM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

10:05AM - Facial and hand care routine.

Applied a pea-size of Triamcinolone Acetonide cream on the dorsal (back) left hand.

10:30AM - Carolyn arrived.

11:00AM - Kelsie, RN arrived for Maureen's regular weekly nurse visit. Lungs clear, stomach has active bowel sounds. Arm circumference - 23cm, Leg circumference - 33 cm.

BP: 110/66

Heart Rate - 76

T - 97.5

11:30AM - It's time for Maureen's 1st rest break. Transferred her to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. No vaginal discharge. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Position to the right side after.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned/dried and changed her. Transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch - chicken salad, steamed sweet peppers and carrots, and blended broccoli soup. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. No coughs.

**Reclined geri chair one notch after lunch for comfort.

1:25PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen was sitting comfortably on the chair, listening to music - awake. Less phlegmy today.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her - position to face the left side after.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was lean and dry . We proceed to dressed Maureen. Transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
