Wednesday, May 17 Daytime update

• 8:00 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 8:45 am- Maureen is awake now. We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:00 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Brian and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the chair. Headed to the kitchen.

• 9:15 am -Breakfast- Smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 9:45 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril .

• 9:50 - Morning oral care.

• 9:55 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 10:00 am- Facial routine.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is relaxing in the chair, sipping some water.

• 11:15 am- We transferred Maureen to bed. Her diaper was dry. She will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:25 am.

• 12:25 pm- Rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Brian and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and proceeded with washing Maureen's hair. Transferred Maureen to the chair and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45 pm- Drying and styling Maureen's hair.

• 12:50 pm- Lunch- lentils soup, tuna salad, roasted Brussels sprouts, all homemade and brought in by Carolyn, cup of water, half of yogurt. Maureen coughed twice.

• 1:25 pm- We reclined Maureen's chair in order to do oral care properly. She was leaning forward.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was medium wet and had a small soft bowel movement. Brian and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet and she had a medium formed bowel movement. Joanna and I cleaned and changed her. Transferred Maureen to the day chair and headed to the front room.

• 3:35 pm- Weekly visit with Ann Emberson, RN. Lungs are clear, T- 98.2, BP- 122/74, Pulse -72.

• 4:00 pm- Fresh fruit- pear and watermelon.
