Wednesday July 7, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in the recliner.

• 6:00pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet so we headed to the bathroom. Maureen had a large bowel movement in the pull-up. After 16 minutes, Maureen did not urinate anymore. We cleaned her well and put on a new pull-up. Maureen sat upright in the commode fairly well. We returned to the day chair after, prepared for dinner.

• 6:25pm Dinnertime. Maureen had grilled chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, and half of a peach shake for dinner as well as one and a half cup of water. Maureen sat upright for her meal with assistance of the green wedge pillow.

• 7:24pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 8:02pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is wet and there is slight fecal residue. Cleaned thoroughly and put on a new diaper. Removed socks. Placed new knee pillow in between legs. Body pillows placed on either side. Head of the bed elevated. Maureen is lying on her right side.
