Wednesday July 17, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s still asleep, lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen woke up calmly about 10 minutes ago, accepted sips water via swab and immediately fell asleep again.

• 8:45am Mauree

• is awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:50am Joanna and I started the day by giving Maureen a full body bath using damp washcloth and Cetaphil cleanser, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Noticed slight-yellowsh vaginal discharge. Dressed and continued to wash her hair using KETOCONAZOLE SAMPOO, we noticed some dandruff reappearing. Headed to the kitchen afterwards.

• 9:15am Breakfast starts with a cup of lemon water and mandarin.

• 9:25am Blow/dry and style Maureen’s hair.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:40am Breakfast cont. with coffee and oatmeal/fruit smoothie. Coughed and sneezed three times.

• 9:50 Administered 10mg loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: None

• 10:00am Oral care.

• 10:10am Saline and albuterol neb treatment.

• 11:10am Kalsea, RN arrives for Maureen’s weekly visit:

Lungs are clear

Temp: 97.9

BP: 106/68

Left thigh cinc: 34cm (between knee and mid thigh)

She ordered antibiotic pills (CIPROFLOXACIN HCL 500mg) to be taken twice a day, for seven days to treat Maureen’s UTI.

• 11:35am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry; positioned on her right side.

• 12:35pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper; no vaginal discharge observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:50pm Lunch: Broccoli soup, shrimp salad with tomato and avocado, full cup of cranberry juice and rice pudding for dessert. Coughed twice.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen is awake while listening to her playlist.

• Maureen had 1/3 cup of lemon water.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clea/change a medium wet diaper and inserted a suppository as planned, then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and a Large-soft BM (almost formed); vaginal discharge observed. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:50pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple/banana), and half cup of water.

• 4:00pm Administered 500mg Ciprofloxacin (first dosage), crushed into applesauce.
