Wednesday, January 25 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep. She is laying on her left side.

• 7:06 am- Maureen woke up. She started twitching her hands and arms. The eyes were not wide open, she was moving her eyes and blinking. The pulse went up to 104 and slowly began to go down. Oxygen was always 94-96 . The episode lasted about 7-8 minutes . I opted not to give Maureen the Lorazepam.Right now she is calm and relaxed, pulse is 60, O2 - 95.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. Pulse is 60, O2-94.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is slowly waking up .

• 8:40 am- Maureen looks ready to start the day. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I did a full body bed bath, using the warm wipes from the purple package and Aloe Vesta. Applied 3 M Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:14 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:15 am- Breakfast- homemade pancake with banana, 4 oz of prune juice, cup of lemon water. Two coughs.

• 9:40 am- Administered Lisinopril, Loratadin and 20 ml Guaifenesin.

• 9:40 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch for her comfort.

• 9:50 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

• 10:40 am- Smootie time. No coughs.

• 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was dry. We positioned her on the right side at 11:45 am.

• 12:45 pm- Rest break #1 is over. The diaper was medium wet with a very small soft bowel movement . Dalia and I cleaned, changed and dressed Maureen. Proceeded with the hair wash. Headed to the kitchen .

• 1:10 pm- Dried and styled Maureen's hair.

• 1:15 pm- Lunch - meatball soup, shrimp salad, steamed Brussels sprouts, bottle of coconut water, cup of lemon water. No coughs.

• 1:45 pm- Oral care.

• 1:55 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 2:10 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. The diaper was dry. We positioned Maureen on her left side. She will lie down for an hour starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Rest break #2 is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I performed a clean and change. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit. No coughs.
