Wednesday, February 22 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep. Tom gave her 0.1 ml of Lorazepam at 6:20 am.

  • 7:00 am - Maureen is opening her eyes from time to time. She is calm and relaxed. Pulse is 62, O2- 94.

  • 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. She is still cal. No signs of agitation seen.

  • 8:15 am- Maureen is starting to move her head , arm ,leg and body again at times.

  • 8:30 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I gave her a full body bed bath. Applied 3 M Cavilon products. There was still a slight redness on her right inner elbow. We washed it with water and soap . Applied a thin layer of nystatin. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 8:50 am- Breakfast- pancake with peach jello and banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax. We started with administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed three times during breakfast. We reclined the chair in the middle of breakfast to keep Maureen's head up.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

  • 9:20 am- Administered Lisinopril, 5 ml of Zyrtec and 1 crushed tablet Ciprofloxacin with apple sauce.

  • 9:25 am- Morning oral care.

  • 9:30 am- Facial routine.

  • Maureen had a little more energy this morning compared to yesterday. She was still leaning forward , but doesn't look as tired. Her nose is not running.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair, closing her eyes from time to time.

  • 10:30 am- Half a smoothie. She coughed 5 times.

  • 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:15 pm.

  • Maureen had her eyes closed for about 10 minutes at the end of the rest break.

  • 12:15 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and proceeded with the hair wash. Headed to the kitchen after.

  • 12:30 pm- Drying and styling Maureen's hair.

  • Deacon Andy came to give Maureen ashes.

  • 12:40 pm- Lunch- butternut squash soup, shrimp salad, steamed broccoli, bottle of coconut water. Maureen coughed twice, sneezed once. We reclined the chair after lunch.

  • 1:10 pm- Oral care.

  • 1:50 pm - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet with a small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Positioned her on her left side at 2:05 pm.

  • 2:50 pm- We shortened Maureen's second break. Her diaper was medium wet with a medium formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:05 pm- Maureen is having her fruit and spending time with Carolyn.

Saturday, July 25, 2026 - Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's awake and lying on her R side. Observed moaning and kicking her legs when I arrived however, easily drifts back to sleep when she stops moving and/or feels comfortable. 9:55AM - Cu

Tom’s Update 7:00 vitals are … Temperature is 97.7° Pulse is 78 BPM Oxygen level is 94% Sleeping soundly 9:30AM- Maureen is on her left side still sleeping comfortably. 10:50AM- Maureen is on her left
