Tuesday September 28, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in the recliner.

• 5:38pm Maureen’s pull-up is medium wet so we headed to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels. We cleaned Up and put on a new pull-up.

• 6:05pm Dinnertime. It Is taco night. Maureen enjoyed a pork carnitas taco with some rice and a cup of water. She coughed twice throughout her meal.

• 7:14pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Removed upper and lower partials. Oral care and facial cleanse followed. Applied Cetaphil moisturizing lotion to face, hands and arms after.

• 7:36pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. pull-up is slightly wet. Cleaned using the 3M cleanser spray, applied Mupirocin to open areas, and put on a fresh diaper. Ciclopirox applied to both right and left big toe. Vicks applied to chest. body pillows placed on either side of bed. head of the bed elevated. Two green pillows in place behind Maureen as well as white block pillow in between her legs. Maureen is lying on her left side.

• 8:12pm Maureen is sound asleep.
