Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Arrived with Dalia sitting at bedside with Maureen. According to Dalia, Maureen woke up when she arrived at 6:30AM and has been sleeping in and out.

8:35AM - Maureen closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

9:15AM - Maureen is still sleeping.

9:25AM - Maureen woke up with slight twitching - checked pulse rate after 8mins @112bpm, went down to 90s and mid 80s 4-5mins after - looking relaxed and calmer.

9:50AM - Maureen in an upright position - we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

10:00AM - Maureen looking like she's ready to start her day. We washed her upper body with warmed purple wipes. Redness on underarm almost non visible however, we noticed a small red spot on the side part of the underarm - we applied Nystatin cream. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

10:15AM - Late breakfast started with 6oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, and yogurt. Maureen coughed once. She also finished 1 cup of lemon water.

10:35AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with the smoothie.

10:45AM - Oral care. Reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

11:00AM - Facial and hand care routine.

11:05AM - BP: 110/78, pulse 78bpm

11:25AM - Maureen sitting comfortably on chair - awake.

11:40AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet with medium soft bowel movement, cleaned and changed her. Positioned to face her right side starting at 11:55am.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended which we shortened due to Maureen got up late. Diaper was dry. Transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Maureen's lunch is veggie soup, tuna salad, beets, 12 oz of sparkling water and yogurt. Maureen was eating well and enjoyed lunch. Coughed once.

1:20PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen has been silent today - awake the whole time, comfortably sitting and listening to music.

2:30PM - Transferred to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Positioned to face her left side starting at 2:40pm.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (pear, kiwi, melon).
