Tuesday, June 4, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is sleeping, lying on her left side. As per Tom, Maureen woke up around 7:15am and went back to sleep after.

8:15AM - Maureen opened her eyes and had sips of water via swab.

8:30AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Tom started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes, no redness/skin observed. Diaper was dry and clean. We finished dressing Maureen then, proceed to the kitchen.

8:55AM - Breakfast started with cut up pear, 8oz of prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen also had 1/2 cup of lemon water. Coughed 3x and we tried to use suction machine each time to get rid of the phlegm.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1/2 cap

9:40AM - Oral care. Followed by facil and hand care routine.

**Tom trimmed and filed Maureen's nails as well.

10:00AM - We went out for a walk.

10:40AM - Back home. Good day today and it was a nice walk, Maureen was awake the entire time and enjoyed being outside.

**Maureen had 3/4 cup of lemon water.

11:00AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changer her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cavilon cream on folds. Position to face her right side.

**We finished the Danielle Steel book. One down more to go. 😁

12:15PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen then, proceed to the kitchen.

12:28PM - Lunch was egg salad, beets and broccoli cheddar soup. Maureen finished a cup of coconut water and had 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Coughed 2x, sneezed once.

**Reclined geri chair one notch before lunch due to Maureen leaning forward a little bit.

1:15PM - Oral care.

1:30PM - Maureen looking relaxed and sleepy while sitting on her recliner, listening to music.

2:10PM - BP: 108/65, P: 62 bpm

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to her bedroom for 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Then, position to face her left side.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then, transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
