Tuesday July 6, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying calmly in the recliner.

• 5:10pm We asked Maureen if she wanted to use the bathroom. She said yes so we headed to the bathroom. Pull-up is wet. After 11 minutes, Maureen had a small, firm bowel movement but did not urinate more. We cleaned her thoroughly and put on a new pull-up. No redness observed. We returned to the recliner after.

• 6:10pm Dinner time. We once again elected to have dinner in the recliner tonight. Maureen finished off the rest of the beef kabob and pasta salad. She also had one and a half cup of water. No coughing, no pocketing of food or water in her mouth. Maureen was very talkative during dinner tonight.

• 7:15pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 7:45pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is wet and Maureen had another small, firm bowel movement. Cleaned and put on a new diaper. No redness observed. Removed socks and applied Vicks to chest. Pillow placed in between legs. Body pillows placed on both sides. Maureen is lying on her right side.
