July 27 daytime update

  • 7:00am Maureen is sound asleep, lying on her right side. Her diaper is dry.

  • 9:00am Maureen’s eyes are open but she is still resting. Vitals at this time:

    • Temperature: 97.1

    • Pulse: 68

    • O2: 99%

  • 9:24am Maureen is now awake. Diaper is wet; cleaned and put on a fresh pull-up. Transferred Maureen to Geri chair using the Hoyer lift.

  • 9:35am Administered thyroid medicine with applesauce before breakfast.

  • 9:40am Breakfast time. Maureen had her usual banana with oatmeal and 1/2 cup prune juice and one cup of water.

  • 10:21am Administered Lisinopril and baby Aspirin with applesauce.

  • 11:05am 100% organic smoothie time.

  • 11:44am Maureen’s pull-up is slightly wet so we headed to the bathroom. After 4 minutes, Maureen expelled a good amount of urine and also had a small, firm bowel movement. We cleaned her thoroughly and put on a new pull-up. No redness seen. We headed to the recliner after.

  • 12:00pm Maureen’s vital signs at this time:

    • Temperature: 98.3

    • Pulse: 80

    • O2 99%

  • 12:30pm Maureen fell asleep for about 10 minutes in the recliner.

  • 1:25pm Lunch time. Maureen enjoyed a turkey sandwich with some gnocchi as well as a bottle of coconut water.

  • 3:00pm Maureen’s vital signs at this time:

    • Temperature: 98.3

    • Pulse 84

    • O2 98%
