Tuesday, January 24 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is sound asleep. She is laying on her left side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still asleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen continues to sleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is still sound asleep.

• 8:50 am- Maureen opened her eyes. She looked calm, just an occasional twiching. Her pulse went to 92, but slowly came down to 70. She is in and out of sleep now.

• 9:30 am- Maureen is sound asleep now.

• 10:00 am- Maureen continues to sleep soundly. Dalia and I repositioned her on the right side. Diaper was dry.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is slowly waking up.

• 10:45 am- Maureen looks ready to start the day. Her diaper was medium wet and had a medium soft bowel movement. Dalia and I performed a clean and change. Applied the 3 M products. Then washed Maureen's upper body. There was no redness observed. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 11:05 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 11:07 am- Instead of breakfast, we elected to give Maureen a smoothie. She had a 8 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax. No coughs.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 11:30 am- Administered Lisinopril , Loratadin and 20 ml Guaifenesin.

• 11:35 am- Morning oral care.

• Maureen sounds a little congested this morning. She was leaning forward, we reclined the chair to finish the smoothie. Energy is low so far.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, chicken salad, guacamole, bottle of coconut water. No coughs.

• 1:10 pm- Oral care.

• 1:20 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 1:40 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her only rest break today. Her diaper was medium wet and with a large very soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned Maureen thoroughly, changed and positioned her on the right side at 2:00 pm.

• 3:00 pm- Rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:20 pm- Fresh fruit snack. Maureen coughed once.
