Tuesday, January 10 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. Tom is by her side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep. Tom gives her some water with the swab when she is awake.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is still not fully awake.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is more awake now.

• 8:45 am- We started our day. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dalia and I washed Maureen's upper body, finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution first and Albuterol right after.

• 9:20 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. We started by administering Levothyroxine with a little apple sauce. Maureen did not cough during breakfast.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup. Administered Lisinopril , Loratadin and 20 ml Robafen .

• 9:50 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 10:00 am- Facial routine.

• Maureen has no energy this morning. She ate her breakfast without energy, wasn't receptive to prune juice, which is very rare. Holding her water . Her nose is running a little, she seems congested . Maureen coughed couple of times after breakfast and coughed up some phlegm. She fell asleep in the chair during facial and is still sleeping .

• 10:50 am- Maureen is still sound asleep in the chair.

• 11:00 am- Maureen had a mild episode. She slowly woke up. There was a little twitching in her arms and hands, her eyes were open, but not staring. She was blinking all throughout. The pulse picked at 128 for a few seconds only and started coming down. It stayed in the low to mid 80 for about 5-6 minutes. Oxygen was in the 93-96 range. The whole episode lasted 11 minutes. Temperature was 98:3. Slowly pulse came back to normal for Maureen level -in the 63-68 range.

• 11:20 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a rest break #1 . Her diaper was light wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon Barrier cream. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:40 am. Temperature- 97.6 ; O2 - 96; Pulse- 83 .

• 12:40 pm - Rest break # 1 ends . Maureen's diaper was dry . We dressed and headed to the kitchen .

• 12:50 - Nebulizer treatment with saline solution first , Albuterol after .

• 1:15 pm - Lunch time- chicken noodle soup, a piece of omelette, fresh tomato, guacamole, 12 oz bottle of coconut water. Maureen did not cough. Her nose was running a lot.

• 1:45 pm- Administered 20 ml of Guaifenesin Liquid (expectorant ).

• 1:50 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. The diaper was light wet. Dalia and I performed a clean and change routine. Positioned Maureen on her left side. She will lie down for an hour starting at 2:30 pm.

• 3:30 pm- Rest break # 2 is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:40 pm- Fruit snack.

• Maureen was very quiet today, low energy level, congested and her nose was running. She looked tired.
