Thursday April 9,2026 Daytime Update

9:30AM- Maureen's on her left side, already awake. Tom’s giving her sips of water via swab , No signs of pain or any distress. No cough

10:00AM- We placed Maureen in an upright position . Administered  75mcg of Levothyroxine with purée pear and she drink 6oz of water with thickener. No cough.

Giving her Neb treatment with albuterol.

10:20AM- Morning care, Was her upper extremities with warm purple wipes. Diaper was dry , small VD cloudy odorless. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on her posterior and inner thighs. We dressed her and moved to the front room.

10:50AM-Administered 10mg of Loratadine with purée pear and 20ml cough syrup (Geri-Tussin) liquid colace with purée pear.

Breakfast - scrambled egg with tomatoes, onions and avocado , and kiwi finished 8 oz thickened prune juice with 1cap Miralax .Maureen ate well. Cough once suction.

11:30AM- Oral care.

11:35AM- Facial and hand care routine.

12:00 - Maureen close her eyes for a nap.

1:15PM - Maureen took 10oz coconut water with thickener, had melon  for as fruit snack. Coughed once Suction.

2:15PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was dry. Medium VD cloudy odorless. Inserted suppository,We position her to face the left side.

3:25 PM- Rest break ended already. Diaper medium wet and has XL formed BM. We cleaned and change her, We dressed Maureen and went to stay at the backyard.

3:40PM - Maureen had 10oz of water with lemon

4:15PM- Neb treatment with albuterol.

4:20PM - diaper checked , was cleaned and dry.

4:30PM - Dinner - Burger and Brussels sprouts, Maureen finished her food and enjoyed eating.

She finished 10oz sparkling water with thickener. No cough

5:20PM- Administered 5mg of Olanzapine , 12.5ml Vimpat, 20ml cough syrup (Geri-Tussin) all with purée pear.

5:30PM - Oral care.

6:10PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was dry we cleaned and applied Cavilon cream on posterior and inner thighs. Applied Cetaphil lotion on face, arms and legs. Position to face the left side with pillow in between legs and 2 wedges on the back.

6:25PM - Maureen's sleeping.

T - 98.6

P - 91bpm

O2 - 96%

Liquid intake - 42oz

Note:  We notice that Maureen, even with cue’s she is not swallowing as well all week.
