Thursday, May 23, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake, lying calmly on her left side. Tom informed she woke up around 7am.

8:25AM - Maureen was coughing up phlegm while on bed, we used suction machine to assist her.

In an upright position, we administer 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:35AM - Me and Joanna started Maureen's day by washing her upper body with warmed purple wipes. Redness on right underarm is almost non-visible, we still applied small amount of Nystatin. Diaper was dry and clean upon checking. We finished dressing Maureen then, transferred to the kitchen.

8:50AM - Breakfast was sliced banana, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. and a cup of lemon water. No couhs.

No MiraLAX dose today.

9:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:45AM - Eye care and eye drop routine. Followed by facial and hand care routine.

10:00AM - Going outside for a walk.

11:15AM - Arrived from a very nice walk. Maureen had a good time outside - stayed awake the entire time.

**Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom in time for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her then, position to face her right side.

**Maureen had a 15-20min nap.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. We dressed her and proceed to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch was tuna salad, sliced fresh tomato, cheddar broccoli soup and a cup of sparkling water. Maureen enjoyed dinner and coughed once.

1:30PM - Oral care. We reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

Maureen is comfortably sitting on her recliner, hands relaxed.

2:35PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with medium soft bowel movement. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then, moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Fresh fruit snack time (banana, apple and watermelon).
