Thursday, May 2, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, lying on her left side when we came in.


8:25AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.


8:35AM - Maureen looked ready to start her day. We washed her upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was clean and dry when we checked. Dressed Maureen then proceed to the kitchen.


8:50AM - Breakfast started with 8oz of prune juice with 1 cap MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. No coughs.


MiraLAX daily dose - 1 cap


9:20AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie. **Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.


9:35AM - Oral care.


9:40AM - Eye care and eye drops routine followed by facial and hand care routine.


10:20AM - Took Maureen out for a walk.


BP: 108/65, P: 68 bpm


11:30AM - Came back from walk outside. Maureen enjoyed the time.


**Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. Transferred to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small soft bowel movement, we cleaned and changed her then, position to face her right side @11:40am.


12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Dressed Maureen then, moved to the kitchen.


12:45PM - Lunch was egg salad, potato salad from Michael, veggie soup and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Coughed once.


1:40PM - Oral care.


2:25PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with large soft bowel movement. We cleaned thoroughly then changed Mauren. Position to face her left side at 3:40pm.


3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Dressed Maureen then, proceed to the front room.


3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
