Thursday, March 21, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake when we came in. She's lying calmly on her left side.

8:25AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:40AM - We started to wash Maureen's upper body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then proceed to the kitchen.

8:50AM - Breakfast started with slices of pear. Maureen had 8oz of prune juice with full cap of MiraLAX, fruit/oatmeal smoothie with 3 prunes, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. She also had a cup of lemon water. Coughed once, sneezed twice. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1 full cap

9:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with the smoothie.

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:45AM - Eye care / eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:30AM - BP: 110/64, P: 68 bpm

**Maureen looking relaxed while sitting on her recliner - listening to music. Closed her eyes for a nap.

11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch was tuna salad, beets, sweet green pea soup, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. No coughs.

**Reclined geri chair after for comfort.

1:25PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen on recliner, silently listening to her fave music.

2:20PM - Maureen had a cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry, we position her to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Transferred to the front room.

3:43PM - Sips of lemon water before fruit snack. Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
