Thursday, March 14, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake when we came in, calmly lying on her left side.

8:30AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:40AM - We started washing Maureen's upper body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then proceed to the kitchen.

8:55AM - Maureen had slices of pear and also given 2 50mg of Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce, and finished a cup of lemon water. No coughs.

9:08AM - Breakfast was 8oz prune juice, fruit/oatmeal smoothie with 3 prunes, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt.

9:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:50AM - Eye care and eye drops routine. Followed by facial and hand care routine.

10:10AM - BP: 118/67, P: 89 bpm

10:45AM - Maureen looking relaxed and calm sitting on her chair - listening to Irish music and other songs. Closed her eyes and had a quick 15min nap.

11:20AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Then, transferred to the kitchen.

12:40PM - Lunch was hawaiian salad, crackers and mushroom soup. Maureen also had a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

1:18PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen was calm sitting on her recliner - awake while listening to music. She had 1/4 cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Finished dressing then moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
