Thursday, July 20. Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. She is laying on her left side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is sleeping now.

• 7:30 am- Maureen woke up , she was coughing, used the suction machine and were able to get some phlegm and saliva out. Maureen got a few sips of water with the swab and was falling asleep again.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:50 Maureen is waking up now.

• 9:00 am- We raised the bed and administered levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 9:10 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:30 am- Breakfast- Smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, Maureen coughed twice.

• 10:00 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down one level for her comfort .

• 10:05 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 10:10 am- Facial routine.

• 10:15 am- Maureen is having a very low energy this morning. She looks tired and sleepy, closing her eyes at times.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is sleeping in the chair.

• 11:15 am- Maureen is waking up.

• 11:20 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Her diaper was light wet and she had a very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:35 am.

• 12 :35 pm- Maureen's first rest break ends. Her diaper was medium wet and she had another very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:55 pm- Lunch- Chicken noodle soup, chicken salad, steamed broccoli, half a cup of yogurt, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair.

• 2:00 pm- Maureen finished her water cup.

• 2:20 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Her diaper was dry. She will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:30 pm.

• 3:30 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45 pm- Fresh fruit snack- melon, kiwi and pear. Maureen is really enjoying it. One cough.

• Maureen had more energy in the afternoon. She was alert and engaging.
